It was pouring with rain in NYC when we caught the MegaBus to Washington DC. The weather had turned bad because of Hurrican Joaquin. The bus was completey full, every seat was taken, we were on the top floor. Everyone was wet when they got on, so the bus windows
We took the Staten Island Ferry (which is free) across the Hudson river to see the Statue of Liberty. The ferry doesn’t stop by the statue but it does go pretty close. From Manhattan the Lady Liberty seems quite small but she’s actually pretty big !
In NYC we either walked (a LOT) or took the Subway. Mama paid $31USD for a weeks unlimited metrocard and kids travel free ! The subway trains were really, really busy at rush hour, I didn’t even need to hang onto the pole because I couldnt have fallen over even

We had an AWESOME afternoon out in Barcelona sailing on ORSOM Catamaran 😉 We sailed out of Port Vell, at the bottom of Las Ramblas and along the Barceloneta beach. We got the best spot on the “trampoline” right at the front of the yacht so we could lie down
