We went to Fort Lauderdale for a travel bloggers conference TBEX, we stayed at an Airbnb, it was a pool house with 3 bedrooms.

On Airbnb it was advertised as “Jim’s Pool House” but when we got there we found the owner also rents it out to Yacht crew from the super yachts when they have the boat in the port (some of the same ones from Barcelona). He has a Facebook page called Jungle Jim’s Tropical Crew House and Naturist Hostel which I thought was pretty funny but Mama was a bit worried about who else might be sharing with us.

Our room had 2 single beds in it. Ive got used to big beds in America and this one felt very small, I dont know how Mama didnt fall out of it !

There were 2 really nice ladies in the other rooms who were from TBEX too, Helen & Elaine.

The pool in the back garden was small but fun as it had loads of floating mats & woggles to play with. There were also lots of geckos in the garden and even a big iguana on the fence one day !

Mamas favourite thing was the washer & dryer so she didn’t have to go the laundrette to wash our clothes.

We stayed 4nights and paid $50 USD night.
