The first train from Barnstaple to Exeter was a bit of a rickety old train that stopped at all the little stations but the next one from Exeter to London Paddington was much faster. We had big, comfy seats and a table with power sockets so I could charge my tablet 🙂

I did try to find Paddington Bear when we got to Paddington Station but he wasnt there 🙁

Journey took: 4 hours 20 mins to go 420KM and cost £72 GBP ($110 USD) for both of us.
