I LOVE Miami, I think I want to live here !

Maybe I’ll come to University in Miami when Im older, BxB says she wants to live in Miami too !

We are staying at the Catalina Beach Resort on Miami South Beach. We got upgraded to a suite which is huge and much more luxury than the other hotels we’ve stayed at. We have a huge bed with a chandelier over it !

South Beach is a bit like the Barceloneta at home. Mama loves all the Art Deco buildings, we went on a walking around the Art Deco district, the guide told us how to find the secret, hidden casinos in each hotel by following the tile decorations on the floor.

There are some really cool hotels here. My favourite is the Tides because the gangsters used to gamble in their secret casino. I like the pool at the Delano Hotel, the compass at the National doesn’t point North, it points to the Hotel National in Cuba, the brunch at the Shore Club had lots of yummy desserts (and unlimited Mimosas, says Mama) !

We paid $130 a night for 7 nights.

Includes: free wifi, free airport shuttle, 2 swimming pools, beach club/sun loungers, free drinks during happy hour (Mama says this is an important point)
