ZZ Ninja Kid: World Snooze Tour #22 Cancun, Mexico

Casa Mexicana in Puerto Juarez, Cancun

Our home this week is in Puerto Juarez (near Cancun) , which is the Mexican part of downtown, near the harbour where the boats go to Isla Mujeres.

We went to visit “Cancun Zona Hotelera”,  its a 20km long, thin island full of huge, huge international hotels, restaurants and shopping malls. It looked very American but Mama didn’t want to stay anywhere touristy.

We seem to be the only “non-Mexicans” in our area, they think its funny we speak Spanish and everyone wants to talk to me about the Barca vs Madrid match this week that Barca won 4-0 🙂

Casa Mexicana is another Airbnb, its very colourful with lots of plants and different coloured walls and furniture. Mama says its very “Mexican”.

A view of Isla Mujeres

We have an apartment on the top floor (there are only 3 floors), with 2 big bedrooms (and king-size beds), 2 bathrooms, a lounge, kitchen, dining room (which we never use) and 2 big terraces with a view of Isla Mujeres.

In the garden there is a swimming pool and a little wooden cabaña on a pontoon that goes out into the sea. The Black Pearl Pirate ship is moored just infront of our apartment, I reckon Mama’s hoping Captain Jack Sparrow will pop in to say hello.

I played football on the beach with some boys who live here.

Cost: $100 USD x 5 nights (includes wifi)
