World Snooze Tour Bed #57 Moonlight Hotel Hue, Vietnam

Hue is the old Imperial Capital of Vietnam where the Emperors used to live. There is a huge walled Citadel with a smaller walled Citadel inside it, called the Forbidden City.

The Emperors also built themselves huge palace-like tombs outside the city in the forest.

We took a 3 tours with “I Love Hue” on mopeds to visit all the sights and to eat lots of street food.

We stayed at the Moonlight Hotel in #702 which had a great view of the river from our balcony. The bathroom had a glass wall into the bedroom so you could sit on the toilet and look at the view of the river, but if you were in bed you could also see someone on the loo if you didn’t pull the blind down πŸ˜‰

The swimming pool was kind of strange because it was on the 5th floor (the rooftop bar was on the 11th floor) so it was half inside and half outside, the sun doesnt shine on it though so it was pretty cold water, it was OK for me because it was 35ΒΊ in the sun so I wanted to cool down. There was a cool jacuzzi too, overlooking the river.

Cost: Moonlight Hotel 4* $60 night (x 2 nights) Inc: Breakfast, Aircon, wifi
