Bed #61 Tirant Hotel, Old Quarter Hanoi, Vietnam

The Tirant Hotel in Hanoi looks like a posh hotel to me, Mama says its 1980’s posh with lots of fake gold & marble.

Our bedroom #506 is big but has no windows, Mama HATES rooms with no sunlight ! The bathroom walls are made of white, frosted glass so you can’t actually see in from the bedroom, inside its all marble with gold taps.

The best thing about this hotel is the plunge pool on the roof, its only 3 x 5m but the waters nice & cold. The rooftop chillout bar & restaurant has a cool 360º view of the Old Quarter of Hanoi and the Hoan Kiem Lake. We had dinner up there one night.

Cost: Tirant Hotel 4* $60 usd night (x 2 nights). Inc breakfast, Aircon, wifi.
